Designated Test Centers 

       These leaders in the marine industry have partnered with us to make it as convenient as possible for you to get the course material for home study or to challenge the exam. At a minimum we recommend that you purchase the course material from us or one of these retailers and study it prior to challenging the exam. The course material is intended as a refresher of what you already have learned about boating as well as a few new bits of information. This method of testing and learning is intended for the experienced boater. 

** If you are a new boater, we strongly recommend that you take the classroom course. 

Course material - You can purchase our course manual for $20.00 + GST at these locations.

Challenge Exam - You can challenge the exam for a price of $35.00 +GST.  You must pay for every exam you take and can only take one (1) per day. 

******** The Canadian Coast Guard Safe Boating Guide is NOT designed as a study guide for the exam to get your Pleasure Craft Operator's Card.
