Classroom Course Information

Classroom Course -  $70.00  

We offer the Mandatory Safe Boating Course at various locations around British Columbia.  The next public course will be in September. Please check back in January 2009 for next season's schedule.

     The classroom course is four (4) hours in length and covers:

Boating Basics Criminal Code and Boating Emergencies Collision Regulations
Regulations  Operation of Pleasure Craft Required Equipment Aids to Navigation

The course is easy to understand and is perfect for the family.  After completing this course you will have the confidence and the knowledge to enjoy boating with greater safety.    

    When you register you will be sent the course manual as there is some reading that is required to be completed prior to taking the course.  There are practice quizzes after each section and a practice exam at the back of the manual to help you learn the material.  This ensures that all students are aware of what we will be teaching.  

We have tests designed specifically for youth aged 8 -12 and 13 - 15.

    We are currently in the process of securing other facilities to provide the course around British Columbia and across Canada.  Check back to this site as it will be updated with the current course information.
